A Coal-Containing Wastewater Treatment Project in Guangdong Province


Abstract

A power plant in Guangdong Province currently has an installed capacity of 3 × 660MW units and is equipped with an open-air coal yard with an area of about 16000 ㎡. The coal-containing wastewater mainly comes from coal-containing wastewater collected from various transfer stations, coal docks, open-air coal yards and other sites in the coal transportation system. Which is located in the Pearl River estuary of Guangdong Province, the region has sufficient rainfall and high environmental pressure.
Project Background

The coal-containing wastewater mainly comes from coal-containing wastewater collected from various transfer stations, coal docks, open-air coal yards and other sites in the coal transportation system. Which is located in the Pearl River estuary of Guangdong Province, the region has sufficient rainfall and high environmental pressure. The original design of a multi-stage precipitation air floatation tank system, the treatment capacity of 280 t/h, the system covers an area of more than 6000 ㎡, and boiler wastewater. During the rainy season, the flow of coal-containing wastewater exceeds 300 m/h, which has exceeded the treatment capacity of the original system, and the effluent of the original system cannot meet the first-class discharge standard in the Comprehensive Wastewater Discharge Standard (GB8978-1996). In view of the situation of coal-containing wastewater, it is urgent to seek the treatment method of rapid treatment, low cost, automation and standard.

For the treatment of coal-containing wastewater in this plant, the designed treatment water volume of HDCY integrated multi-effect clarification system is 7500 m3/d. Practice shows that the suspended solids in the effluent of the system are less than 10ppm and the turbidity is less than 1NTU. All indexes fully meet the reuse standard of coal-containing wastewater, while the treatment cost of the whole system is only 0.13 yuan/ton.

To achieve the effect

The technical parameters of the system are as follows:

• Applicable industries: mine water, mineral processing wastewater, iron and steel/metallurgical wastewater, coal containing wastewater, municipal sewage and domestic wastewater

Compared with the traditional process, HDCY integrated multi-effect clarification system is greatly simplified. The whole system has the characteristics of one high, one large and two low prices:(1) high equipment integration, a variety of water treatment technologies are highly integrated in the modular skid-mounted mechanism, suspended solids, heavy metals, fluorine, PH value adjustment and other pollutants and water quality adjustment tasks can be completed, the treatment capacity from 500 tons/day to 20000 tons/day can be selected, and the project construction period is only 45-60 days, even shorter. (2) The amount of water treated by the monomer equipment is large, and the residence treatment time of coal-containing wastewater in the whole system is only 8 minutes, which is the system technology with the largest treatment capacity per unit volume of equipment in the world. (3) The investment cost is low. The whole system can be tailored according to the project site conditions. It does not require complicated civil engineering and occupies a very small area, which greatly saves the project investment and construction cost. (4) Low operating cost, the whole set of equipment combined with our most cost-effective pharmaceutical technology to achieve the lowest operating and processing costs.

Iron and steel smelting sintering pellet flue gas wet desulfurization wastewater treatment


The desulfurization system of the original sintering plant is not equipped with desulfurization wastewater treatment system, and the desulfurization wastewater is discharged into the sewage treatment system of the whole plant after comprehensive treatment. Due to the high content of suspended solids, high TDS content and serious excessive heavy metals, the original sewage treatment system of the whole plant has a great impact.
