Abstract

Because the mine is adjacent to Ganjiangyuan Nature Reserve and Doushui Lake water source, the drainage water quality outside the concentrator must meet the lead and zinc pollutant discharge standards (GB25466-2010) before being discharged.

The tailings wastewater of lead and zinc mine has large water volume, complex composition and difficult to treat, the clear water on the tailings slurry after natural settlement has problems such as high suspended solids concentration, some heavy metals exceeding the standard and high pH value, which cannot meet the discharge standard. For the treatment of lead-zinc mine tailings wastewater, it is urgent to seek an efficient and low-cost treatment method.
